PamDx is an innovative Dutch diagnostics company headquartered in 's-Hertogenbosch, the Netherlands. We develop advanced proteomics technologies that support precision medicine, biomarker discovery, and translational research.
Our proprietary microarray platform is widely used in academic research, pharmaceutical development, and clinical applications. Building on this expertise, PamDx has developed IVDR-certified IOpener® blood tests that help oncologists identify which patients are most likely to benefit from immune checkpoint inhibitor therapy.
As we expand the commercial introduction of our diagnostic solutions throughout Europe, we are looking for an experienced commercial leader to accelerate our growth and help bring precision oncology to more patients.
Your Role
As Senior Business Developer Manager Diagnostics, you will lead the commercial development of PamDx's diagnostic and research services throughout Europe while managing and coaching a team of five commercial professionals.
You will identify new business opportunities, strengthen existing customer relationships, and establish strategic collaborations with pharmaceutical companies, biotechnology companies, hospitals, cancer centers, clinical research organizations (CROs), and leading academic institutes.
Success in this role means expanding our European customer base, increasing diagnostic and research service adoption, and helping healthcare professionals improve treatment decisions for cancer patients.
Key Responsibilities
You will:
- Develop and execute the European commercial strategy for PamDx diagnostic and research services and biomarker solutions.
- Leader and coach, of product team with other Account Managers to achieve ambitious commercial objectives.
- Build long-term strategic partnerships with pharmaceutical companies, biotech organizations, hospitals, cancer centers, and research institutes.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within oncology, immuno-oncology, biomarker research, and precision medicine.
- Grow existing key accounts while acquiring new customers throughout Europe.
- Represent PamDx during customer meetings, scientific conferences, exhibitions, and industry events.
- Understand customer challenges and translate them into innovative diagnostic, research and biomarker solutions.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies within diagnostics, medical devices, and precision oncology.
- Contribute to business planning, sales forecasting, and commercial growth strategies.
- Support the transition of Research Use Only (RUO) products into clinical and IVDR diagnostic applications.
- Work closely with internal scientific, clinical, regulatory, and marketing teams to successfully launch new products and services.
Required Qualifications
We're looking for someone who combines scientific knowledge with commercial leadership.
You have:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Biomedical Sciences, Clinical Research, Oncology, Life Sciences, Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 4 years of commercial experience in diagnostics, biotechnology, life sciences, medical devices, biomarker services, or CRO environments.
- Track record in Business Development, Key Account Management, Sales Management, or Strategic Account Management.
- Experience selling scientific services, diagnostics, laboratory services, or medical technologies.
- Knowledge of oncology, immunology, biomarkers, proteomics, precision medicine, cell signalling, or translational research.
- Leadership skills with experience coaching or leading commercial teams.
- Excellent relationship-building, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to manage complex sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- Willingness to travel regularly throughout Europe and occasionally internationally.
Preferred Qualifications
It would be an advantage if you also have:
- Experience working with CRO Life Sciences and/or Biotech/Medtech company
- Experience in biomarkers, clinical diagnostics and/or IVDR-regulated products.
- Knowledge of medical devices or companion diagnostics is preferred.
- Familiarity with CRM systems.
- Dutch and English language skills.

Location
This position is based at our headquarters in 's-Hertogenbosch, the Netherlands.
Hybrid working is possible depending on business requirements. Regular travel across Europe is expected.
