As our Electrical & Avionics Systems Engineer you will be part of our ELAV team.
This team consists of 18 Engineers who have various experiences and backgrounds. This team is located at Woensdrecht and Hoofddorp and your prime location will be Woensdrecht.
The ELAV Team Lead will be your manager and coach.
What will you do?
As our Electrical & Avionics Systems Engineer, you are responsible for the design, development, integration/introduction, and monitoring of electrical systems and avionics. You will work closely with key stakeholders such as Product Management, Project Leaders, the Design Organization, and line management. Additionally, you will engage with indirect stakeholders including vendors and customers.
In addition, you are responsible for, among other things:
- Developing of modifications to the aircraft design in accordance with customer and airworthiness requirements.
- Monitoring of new technologies, selection of potential applications and translation into concept designs.
- Defining of system and project requirements and supporting product management.
- System integration and the creation of research, test, and system specification.
- Supporting of system and aircraft tests.
- Preparation, review, and approval of certification reports.
