The D&E DUV Global Support Center supports the performance and reliability of ASML’s deep ultraviolet systems worldwide. Within this department, the Continuous Improvement team builds and improves a critical digital platform used daily by teams across multiple regions. In this internship, you will contribute to a system that supports around-the-clock operations. Your work will directly improve how colleagues collaborate and solve issues. This role offers hands-on experience in a dynamic software development environment with real business impact.
As an intern, you will help evolve a widely used internal platform that supports global operations. You will work closely with users to understand their needs and translate them into practical improvements. This is an opportunity to take ownership of features and see how your work creates value in day-to-day operations. Your main responsibilities will be:
Translate user needs into impactful features and improvements
Design and develop functionality that enhances daily operations
Test solutions to ensure reliability, usability, and performance
Support releases and monitor how new features perform in practice
Identify and solve bugs and performance issues
Contribute ideas to improve user experience and system efficiency
This is a bachelor’s or master’s internship (non-thesis) for a minimum of 7 months, a minimum of 32 hours per week (including 2 days on-site). The start date of this internship projected at the end of August 2026.
To be suitable for the internship, you:
Are pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, software engineering, business information technology, industrial engineering, or a related field
- Have experience with or a strong interest in application development; you are motivated to learn Mendix or have experience with Mendix or similar platforms
Demonstrate strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
Are proactive, collaborative, and eager to learn in a technical environment
Communicate clearly in English and feel comfortable in an international team
Other requirements you need to meet:
You are enrolled at an educational institute for the entire duration of the internship ;
Attach your cover letter with a clear motivation why you are interested in this internship assignment in particular;
You need to be located in the Netherlands to perform your internship. In case you are currently living/studying outside of the Netherlands, your CV/motivation letter needs to include the willingness to relocate.
If you are a non-EU citizen, studying in the Netherlands, your university is willing to sign the documents relevant for doing an internship (i.e., Nuffic agreement).
