IT Coordinator
Will you ensure a stable, secure and future-proof IT environment? (1 FTE, Emmeloord)
For the European part of our organization, we are looking for an IT Coordinator who will take responsibility for the management, security and further optimization of our IT environment. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for IT-related questions from our European colleagues and will work closely with the three colleagues in the European IT team. Fluency in English is a must, and knowledge of French is an advantage. You combine operational support with technical management and actively contribute ideas for improvements and innovations.
What will you do?
As IT Coordinator, you will ensure that employees can rely on a secure, stable and well-supported IT environment. You will manage the day-to-day IT processes and actively contribute to the further professionalization of the IT organization.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Handling and following up on helpdesk requests and IT incidents.
- Setting up, managing and replacing workstations, laptops, PCs and peripherals.
- Supporting and advising users on IT-related questions.
- Managing user accounts, authorizations and onboarding and offboarding processes.
- Managing servers, networks, storage environments and backup processes.
- Carrying out updates, patches and other management activities within the IT environment.
- Monitoring security alerts and taking appropriate measures to protect systems and data.
- Preparing and maintaining technical documentation, procedures and work instructions.
- Identifying opportunities for improvement and advising on hardware, software, infrastructure and IT security.
- Working with external suppliers and colleagues within the European IT team.
What do you bring?
For this position, we are looking for an independent and committed IT professional who takes responsibility for their work. You are service-oriented, work accurately and are able to set priorities effectively. You are also able to explain technical issues to users in a clear and understandable way.
In addition, you have:
- MBO+ or HBO working and thinking level, preferably in ICT or Computer Science.
- Several years of relevant work experience in system administration, workplace management or a comparable IT role.
- Knowledge of Microsoft environments, networks, user management and IT security.
- Experience with backups, updates, authorization management and technical documentation.
- Good communication skills and a proactive work attitude.
- The ability to maintain an overview and switch between different tasks and priorities.
- Good command of Dutch and English.
- Knowledge of French is an advantage due to international collaboration within the organization.
