Job description
As Health & Safety Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining and continuously improving Invesis’ corporate H&S framework across our international business. Acting as the organisation’s subject matter expert, you will oversee the ISO 45001-certified Safety Management System, coordinate compliance activities across 6 countries, and provide meaningful reporting and insights to support decision-making by senior management.
You will drive the ongoing development of our Flourishing through Safety programme, maintain key systems and tools and support a positive culture throughout the organisation. Working closely with colleagues across the business, you will help ensure that H&S standards remain effective, practical and aligned with legal and organisational requirements.
This role is ideally suited to a professional with around 5-7 years of experience who is looking to take ownership of a corporate H&S programme within an international organisation while continuing to develop their expertise and career. In addition, it’s expected that H&S duties will become less resource intensive after 1-2 yrs and we are looking for an individual with an interest to potentially expand their experience and efforts to work on wider ESG issues (environmental and/or social).
Who are we looking for?
An ideal candidate will:
- Drive and continuously improve Invesis’ ISO 45001-certified Safety Management System (Flourishing through Safety), including supporting the upcoming recertification process
- Provide practical H&S expertise and guidance across the business, coordinating compliance activities and supporting stakeholders in multiple countries
- Maintain and enhance key H&S tools and reporting, including SharePoint and the Invesis Concessions App (ICA), ensuring accurate KPI monitoring and incident reporting
- Build strong relationships across the organisation, communicate confidently with stakeholders at all levels, and present clear recommendations to senior management
- Bring a proactive mindset, strong analytical skills and a willingness to take ownership of continuous improvement initiatives
- An interest in wider sustainability and ESG issues, who wants to be part of having a positive impact
What are we looking for?
- 5-7 years of Health & Safety experience, ideally supported by a recognised qualification (NEBOSH or equivalent).
- Experience maintaining and improving ISO 45001-certified management systems within a corporate environment
- Good knowledge of European and UK Health & Safety legislation and compliance requirements
- Experience with reporting, KPI management, SharePoint and business applications used for compliance or incident management
- Strong communication, stakeholder management and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and engage colleagues across different cultures and locations
What can you expect from us?
At Invesis, you’ll join an organisation where people genuinely look out for one another.
Expect:
- A friendly workplace where opportunities to learn and work with experienced colleagues are plentiful
- A culture rooted in collaboration, integrity and respect
- An attractive salary and benefits package
- Support for your personal development through learning on the job, training to strengthen your skills and grow your career, mentoring and much more
