Within this department, we translate complex data into tangible commercial opportunities. Your contribution provides greater insight, improved margins, and a stronger market position: you’re on it.
How you do this? By continuously analysing and optimising rates, margins, and commercial performance across our road freight activities. You will be responsible for preparing, maintaining, and updating tender, standard, and base rate tariffs. In addition, you will conduct in-depth pricing, cost, and margin analyses, assessing the impact of surcharges, cost developments, and commercial agreements. Through your insights, you ensure that pricing remains competitive while supporting healthy profitability.
You will also support Sales and Key Account Management with data-driven analyses, simulations, and business cases. You will carry out post-calculations and assess commercial opportunities and risks. Furthermore, you will work closely with various stakeholders to improve pricing processes, tools, and reporting. By identifying opportunities for automation, harmonisation, and innovations such as dynamic pricing, you will actively contribute to the continued professionalisation of our pricing strategy. You will also participate in European pricing meetings, collaborating with colleagues from different countries to ensure alignment, consistency, and a uniform product positioning in partnership with the Product Owner.. You achieve this by:
- developing, maintaining, and updating pricing structures for tenders, customers, and transport services;
- analysing customer performance, market developments, and margins to identify commercial opportunities and areas for improvement;
- providing Sales and Key Account Management with well-founded calculations, scenario analyses, and strategic pricing recommendations.
Your team stands out within DSV by its central role in translating data into commercial and strategic decisions. As part of the Pricing Team, you will work closely with colleagues from Sales, Operations, Key Account Management, and Product Development. Together, you will ensure optimal pricing strategies, strong margins, and the continuous improvement of processes and tools.

You bring
- higher professional education (HBO) working and thinking level, preferably in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field;
- experience with data analysis and working with Excel and other analytical tools;
- strong analytical skills, a commercial mindset, and the ability to translate data into actionable insights and recommendations.
