This role is critical in ensuring the seamless operation of our warehouse technology and network infrastructure.You will be the "go-to" person for technical issues, hands-on support for warehouse staff using M365 and specialized hardware.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install and troubleshoot warehouse-specific hardware, including Rugged Handheld Scanners (PDA), Thermal Label Printers (Zebra).
- Provide expert support for Outlook, Teams, and OneDrivefor both office and floor staff.
- Maintain and optimize the warehouse Wireless Network (WLAN) to ensure seamless roaming for mobile devices across large areas.
- Monitor L2/L3 switches and access points, and manage cabling.
- Support to manage local network security.
- Manage the inventory of all IT assets, e.g. PCs, laptops, scanners, and licenses.
-Coordinate with external ISPs and hardware vendors for repairs or upgrades.
What We're Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field; or 1+ year of professional experience in IT support, systems administration, or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 suite and administration.
- Hands-on experience with Networking (VLANs, DHCP, Wi-Fi troubleshooting).
- Familiarity with Windows 10/11.- Willingness to work in a warehouse environment which may require some physical activity (e.g., mounting APs or moving equipment).
- Fluency in English (required); knowledge for communicating with local vendors.
