Job Description
Bartender:
- Prepare and serve a variety of drinks, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic, according to established recipes and customer preferences. Including coffee, beers and tea.
- Interact with guests to welcome and seat them based on the reservation system.
- Monitor inventory and restock bar supplies as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area.
Waiter:
- Greet and seat customers in a friendly and efficient manner.
- Present menus and provide detailed information when asked (e.g., about portions, ingredients, or potential food allergies).
- Check identification to ensure customers meet the legal drinking age.
- Take accurate food and drink orders using POS ordering software (Lightspeed).
- Handle complaints or concerns with a positive attitude and resolve issues promptly.
- Check dishes and kitchenware for cleanliness and presentation.
- Provide excellent customer service to ensure satisfaction.
- Process payments and handle cash transactions.
- Communicate order details to the kitchen staff.
- Serve food and drinks promptly.
Requirements
For Both Positions:
- Previous experience in a bar or restaurant setting preferred.
- Must be of legal drinking age 18+ (for Bartender position).
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Positive attitude and team player.
- Strong multitasking abilities.
- Speak fluent English and preferably Dutch.
- Valid work permit and visa for the Netherlands.
