At Mpac Langen, we're looking for a skilled and motivated Field Service Engineer to join our global Service team. This is an exciting opportunity to work with advanced automation and packaging machinery while supporting customers around the world.

As a Field Service Engineer, you will be the face of Mpac at customer sites worldwide. You'll install, commission, maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize our equipment while delivering exceptional customer service and technical expertise.
You'll work closely with customers, project teams, and internal stakeholders to ensure machines operate safely, efficiently, and reliably.

Install and commission new Mpac machinery at customer locations worldwide

Conduct machine testing and validation to ensure performance and compliance

Execute Internal Factory Acceptance Tests (IFAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT)

Successfully hand over completed projects to customers

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance activities

Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical faults

Support customers both on-site and remotely

Carry out machine inspections, upgrades, modifications, and overhauls

Optimize machine performance and reliability

Act as the primary technical contact during service visits

Provide training and instruction to operators and maintenance teams

Build strong customer relationships through professional service delivery

Identify opportunities for technical improvements and additional support requirements

Complete service and inspection reports accurately and professionally

Communicate project progress, technical findings, and recommendations to internal teams

Maintain accurate time registration and expense reporting

Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and company procedures

MBO+ or Bachelor's-level education in:
-
Mechatronics
-
Electrical Engineering
-
Mechanical Engineering
-
Or a related technical discipline
-
Experience working with mechanical and electrical systems
-
Previous experience in field service, machine building, manufacturing, automation, or industrial equipment is highly desirable

Strong troubleshooting and fault-finding capabilities

Ability to read and interpret technical documentation and drawings
