We are currently looking for reliable and motivated kitchen production assistant to assist with the preparation of fresh onigiri, sushi during our morning production shift. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a structured environment and takes pride in preparing high-quality food products.
Working Hours
- Start at 06:00 or 07:00
- Shift ends approximately 13:00-14:00
- 3-5 days per week (days negotiable)
Responsibilities
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Cooking and preparing sushi rice
- Seasoning and properly cooling the rice
- Preparing sushi fillings and ingredients
- Shaping,rolling and assembling
- Packaging and labeling products
- Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in the workspace
- Cleaning and leaving the production area tidy after the shift
Requirements
- Experience in a kitchen, catering, or food production environment is preferred but not required
- Experience in rolling and making sushi is preferred but not required
- Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene (HACCP certificate mandatory)
- Punctual and reliable – morning production requires strict timing!
- Clean and organized working style
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
- Strong attention to detail and consistency
- Ability to work in a small team environment
- English or Dutch language skills required
- Ability to travel to The Hague
