Job Description:
Magnesium Products Engineer – Industrial Menerals F/M
Fixed contract (09 month), Rotterdam (Netherlands)
Reporting to the Industrial Minerals BU General Director, the Product Engineer ensures the development of the product portfolio and technical support, in conjunction with the sales teams and with the aim of developing the activity.
The main missions are:

Management and development of a range of mineral products;
o Characterization of the need with the sales teams
o Sourcing in conjunction with suppliers and the purchasing department
o SEO and product quality management

Technical support for customers and prospects;

Training and support for the sales force;

Contribution to the development strategy;

Participation in international trade fairs;
As part of these missions, a training course of several weeks will be provided. This will quickly familiarize you with the company structure, our products and their applications.
Profile :
Profile sought:
With a Bac+5 education, an engineering school specialising in Chemistry/Physics of Materials, or another similar training, you have at least 3 years of post-graduate experience in a technical position, product development or business development in the field of chemistry and materials. Experience in the field of minerals is a plus.
With a strong curiosity and interest in the field of chemistry and materials, you are able to deal with a wide variety of topics. You have good communication skills, both internally and externally. Beyond your technical skills, you position yourself as a true Business Partner.
Fluency in English is imperative.
Travel is to be expected, as part of international trade fairs as well as visits to our customers and suppliers.
