Senior Account Manager for the Netherlands
- based in a central region of the Netherlands -
In this role, you will be responsible for managing the existing customer base and the development of new customer groups within the Netherlands.
Your role
-
You manage and further develop relationships with key national DIY retail chains and strategic trade customer, e.g. tile distributors, building materials suppliers, sanitary wholesalers and plastics wholesalers.

In addition to maintaining existing customer relationships, you actively approach new prospects and further expand our network of professional clients.

After an internal training program, you will be responsible for planning your own agenda and, following an induction period, you will work independently in the field.

You proactively identify market opportunities and contribute insights to the Benelux sales strategy in close cooperation with the Sales Manager.

You also handle inquiries from potential dealers received via our website.

You work closely with the Sales Manager Benelux, to whom you report.

You spend 4 out of 5 working days on the road / with cursomers and work from home 1 day per week.
- You have at least 5 years of experience in sales.

Preferably, you already have experience in the professional market (tile distribution, building materials, sanitary or plastics wholesale).

You work in a results-driven and proactive manner.

Ideally, you are based in central or western parts of the Netherlands.

You have a professional working proficiency in Dutch and good English skills.

You are a strong relationship builder, able to operate confidently across different decision-making levels.

You enjoy working on the road and have no problem traveling long distances or staying overnight in hotels when required.

You possess strong commercial skills and are confident in closing deals.
