Tesla’s mission is to accelerate the world’s transition to sustainable energy. Residential Energy products are a critical component of this mission to generate, store, and consume sustainable energy, and include Solar Panels, Solar Roof, Powerwall, and home charging products with bi-directional charging.
We have a need for a Product and Applications Lead, EMEA. This role will define the product strategy for the region, which is a critical part of Tesla Energy’s growth plans. This role will manage the local product and applications team, be the primary contact for local Business Development, Sales, and Support teams, and will be responsible for setting the priorities and roadmap of hardware and software products with the HQ engineering team.
What You'll Do-
Shepherd the Plan: Define the vision, strategy, and roadmap for Tesla residential products as they relate to the EMEA business goals

Own experience metrics: Be responsible for key product metrics such as customer and installer satisfaction, feature/product launch success, and support contact rates

Drive Cross-Functional Alignment: Be an integral part of the product development process by gathering and clarifying requirements, ensuring all teams are driving to the same outcome

Land the Launch: Ensure that the impact of changes is being realised by all stakeholders by delivering training, measuring, gathering feedback, and providing visibility for engineering teams
What You'll Bring-
Technical understanding of energy products such as Inverters, Battery Storage, and Vehicle Charging

Familiarity with Energy markets (wholesale and/or ancillary services)

Experience managing both hardware and software roadmaps

Able to demonstrate a first principles mentality and empathy for owners and installers

The ability to translate business problems into engineering requirements

Strong communication, presentation, and organisational skills

Bachelor's degree in engineering or technical discipline
