Position Summary:
The Sales Contract and Pricing Specialist is responsible for all sales contract lifecycle support, pricing, commercial sales tender support and coordination, review of terms and conditions in EMEA region and providing customers and distributors with related documentation. This person will work directly with hospitals, field-based reps, and internal staff to facilitate contract and pricing management for the sales team.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for review and timely renewal of commercial customer contract documentation, and review these for compliance with the AtriCure terms and conditions.
- Maintain contract repository and related information in shared database, CRM system, and other software applications.
- Create sales quotations and customer price lists in alignment with national pricing, and execute pricing strategies to maximize customer value, market competitiveness, and profitability.
- Liaise with Sales Directors and Regional Sales Managers on new sales tenders, renewal of existing tenders ahead of expiration of these tenders. review the terms and conditions of these tenders and ensure timely and accurate submission.
- Interact with the AtriCure legal team on alignment of contract terms and conditions and obtain their advice on terms deviating from the standard terms within AtriCure.
- Accountable for financial/commercial analysis and administrative accuracy.
- Evaluate, identify and drive initiatives to improve the contracting and contract review process and ensure the contracts and signing status is maintained accurately in the contract repository.
- Provide regular reports and metrics on contract completion status, project milestones and progress status of each project, and create presentations as needed.
- Additional duties as assigned.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's or equivalent in Business administration or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant career experience in contract management, pricing or sales administration.
- Self-starter and high level of proactiveness and taking initiative.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong Business acumen and ability to interpret data to make effective recommendations.
- Problem solving – able to discern the proper course of action and follow through to completion.
- Advanced knowledge and skill in Microsoft Office applications.
- Demonstrated project management skills with ability to quickly assimilate information from diverse sources.
- Strong communication skills (Written, Verbal and Presentation).
- Excellent teamwork, sense of urgency and time management skills.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience in MedTech, healthcare, tenders, or public procurement,
- Experience with pricing analysis,
- Familiarity with contract lifecycle management,
- Exposure to commercial contracting in EMEA,
- Advanced Excel/data analysis capability,
- Experience working with CRM/ERP/pricing systems,
- Ability to interpret performance against commercial incentives,
- Familiarity with legal and finance review workflows.
