Smartwares Group (known for brands like Princess) in Tilburg is looking for a Customer Contact Specialist (E-commerce) (32-40 hours per week).

As a Customer Contact Specialist (E-commerce), you are the go-to person for handling and responding to support requests from our marketplace platforms professionally.
You are a true online expert and know better than anyone how to approach and satisfy online shoppers.
In addition to answering questions, you are proactive and think ahead; you ensure that future customers no longer need to ask the same questions by, for example, updating product texts, creating FAQs, initiating instructional videos, or training our AI assistant. You critically review your own work and contribute to automating processes as much as possible using the latest technologies.
This is a versatile role where you can further develop your communication and online skills!
You will collaborate closely with your Customer Contact colleagues within the Marketing team, but also extensively with other departments such as Business Line Management, Logistics, Repair, and Online Sales, all on an international level.
What will you do? (among other things)

Handle questions and warranty requests from consumers received through various channels.

Identify and fix shortcomings in our information provision (e.g., on our websites and partner sites, as well as in manuals) to reduce the volume of customer contacts.

Contribute to process improvements, identify problems, and turn them into solutions.

Monitor reviews and ratings and take appropriate action when necessary.

Train our new AI assistant and chatbot to ensure they provide accurate answers and solutions in the future.
Must-haves
-
HBO (Bachelor’s) level of thinking and working. Preferably a degree with a focus on communication and/or online.

You are either a starter or have a few years of relevant experience.

You communicate clearly and professionally and can apply this in your interactions with customers.

Excellent digital skills and the ability to quickly learn new systems.

Deadlines, hard work, and a dynamic (international) environment are no problem for you.

Social, flexible, professional, service-oriented, with commercial insight.

Empathetic, able to build bridges, and read between the lines.

Excellent spoken and written Dutch and English.

Full-time availability (32-40 hours per week); at least one weekend shift is required.
