As an IT value stream architect for the HR – Hire to Retire value stream at Tata Steel Netherlands (TSN), you are responsible for defining, safeguarding, and evolving the end-to-end application and integration architecture that supports the complete employee lifecycle: from recruitment and onboarding, through development and workforce management, to retirement and offboarding.
The Hire to Retire value stream covers all core HR processes, including recruitment, onboarding, employee master data, workforce administration, payroll-related integrations, learning & development, absence management, travel, and retirement processes. Within this value stream, you will provide architectural direction across key HR applications and platforms such as SAP SuccessFactors (including Employee Central), Neocase, Visma Verzuim, Youforce, Egencia, Netive, Tatasteeljobs.nl, ATR and related HR data and integration layers.
You will operate within the IT Value Stream Architecture team, part of Applications & Transformation within Digital Technologies (DT), delivering secure, scalable and future-proof digital solutions across Tata Steel Netherlands. As value stream architect, you:
- Architecture vision & roadmap: Define and maintain the architecture vision, principles, and roadmap for the HR – Hire to Retire value stream, aligned with HR and DCT strategy.
- End-to-end solution design: Translate HR strategy, Digital Core Transformation (DCT) objectives, and regulatory requirements into robust, scalable application and integration architectures.
- Data, security & compliance: Ensure strong focus on HR data integrity, privacy (GDPR), security, performance, and maintainability across the HR landscape.
- Architectural governance: Guard architectural consistency and alignment with enterprise standards, DCT guardrails, and IT governance.
- Stakeholder collaboration: Work closely with Value Stream Owners, HR stakeholders, Product Owners, application teams, platform teams, and external vendors.
- Agile enablement: Support Agile and DevOps teams with clear architectural guidance, enabling controlled, compliant, and high-quality delivery of change.
