8:00
You start your day full of energy. After grabbing a cup of coffee, you get to work. You begin by checking the ticketing system and reviewing any support requests that need priority. Because of the time zone differences, you often start with tickets from China.
10:00
After taking care of all urgent requests, you move on to resolving outstanding tickets, helping colleagues with their technical issues. This can include anything from resetting passwords to troubleshooting network problems, such as configuring VPNs and similar tasks. You may also be asked to assist with recovering lost data or resolving issues with business software.
13:00
After lunch and a walk outside with your colleagues, you continue working on your tickets and document common issues and solutions in the knowledge base. You then see in the ticketing system that a new colleague will be starting in a few weeks. You start setting up their account and the required hardware, such as a laptop or smartphone.
15:00
Colleagues from the U.S. and Mexico come online, generating new requests. You evaluate these support tickets based on priority and begin resolving the most urgent issues.
16:30
The day has flown by! You finish up your work and shut down your laptop. Feeling content, you head home.
