At Green Giraffe, we're looking for a senior compliance professional to take ownership of the technical backbone of our compliance function, working hand in hand with our Head of Legal & Compliance to keep Green Giraffe's compliance and data protection framework sharp, current, and genuinely embedded across the business. One half of the role is deep technical expertise: regulatory compliance, GDPR, conflict-of-interest assessments, KYC/CDD. The other half is being the person the wider compliance team turns to, mentoring and guiding colleagues without needing a formal reporting line to do it.
It's a role for someone who enjoys both depth and breadth, who's just as energised drafting a data protection policy in the morning as they are advising a colleague through a tricky compliance question in the afternoon, and who sees technical excellence and team leadership as two sides of the same job. You'll work closely with our Head of Legal & Compliance, the wider compliance team, Legal, IT, People Operations, Finance, and business teams across our global network.
If you like independent judgment, technical ownership, and being the senior reference point people rely on (without needing the title of "manager" to do it) this role is for you!
The Senior Compliance Officer reports to the Head of Legal & Compliance and works closely with the wider compliance team to support the delivery and continuous improvement of compliance and data protection activities across the Group. The role provides guidance, mentoring, and technical expertise to other compliance officers, helping promote consistency, best practices, and professional development across the function. The role partners closely with Legal, IT, People Operations, Finance, Marketing and business teams, providing practical compliance advice and helping ensure regulatory requirements are effectively embedded across the organisation. As one of the senior members of the team, the role promotes consistency, best practice and continuous improvement across jurisdictions.
