Over de functie
We blazen een bestaand grand café bij het Amstel Station nieuw leven in met een compleet nieuw concept, een nieuw team, een nieuwe menukaart en een nieuwe directie. We zoeken een hands-on Service & Shift Lead die dagelijkse managementtaken combineert met actieve bediening op de vloer—het team aansturen, diensten draaien, tafels dekken, bestellingen opnemen en koffie zetten.

Wie zoeken wij?
- Taal: Je beheerst de Nederlandse (pre) en/of Engelse taal goed.
- De Hands-On Leider: Je hebt ervaring in de horecaleiding (shiftlead/supervisor) en weet hoe je een team aanstuurt terwijl je actief op de vloer meewerkt (bestellingen opnemen, koffie zetten, serveren).
- De Gastheer/vrouw: Je hebt oog voor detail, bewaakt de servicekwaliteit en ziet wat de gast nodig heeft voordat ze erom vragen.
- De Sfeermaker: Je houdt van de dynamiek van een lunchpiek en de gezellige sfeer van een borrel, en houdt de moraal hoog onder druk.
- Flexibel: Je kunt bedrijfsbijeenkomsten, evenementen zoals verjaardagen en bruiloften, of speciale DJ-avonden organiseren en begeleiden.
- De Aanpakker: Je bent betrouwbaar, gestructureerd, oplossingsgericht en werkt en leidt graag in een team.

About the role
We are giving an existing Grand café near Amstel Station a completely new lift up and putting together a new team, new menu and under a new management. We are looking for a hands-on Service & Shift Lead who combines daily management responsibilities with active floor service—leading the team, running shifts, setting up tables, taking orders and making coffee.

Who are we looking for?
- Language: You have a good command of the Dutch (preferable) and/or English language.
- The Hands-On Leader: You have prior experience in hospitality leadership (shift lead/supervisor) and know how to guide a team while actively working the floor (taking orders, making coffee, serving).
- The Host/Hostess: You have an eye for detail, monitor service quality and see what the guest needs before they ask for it.
- The Vibe Maker: You love the dynamic of a lunch rush and the cozy atmosphere of a drinks session, keeping morale high under pressure.
- Flexible: You can host corporate offsites, events like birthdays and weddings, or special DJ nights.
