We’re on the lookout for enthusiastic, experienced kitchen staff to join our warm and welcoming team at Schattig Cafe! If you love preparing delicious food, thrive in a fast-paced kitchen, and enjoy working behind the scenes to create amazing schattig experiences, we’d love to meet you.
What You’ll Be Doing:
As a member of our kitchen team, you’ll be an essential part of what makes Schattig Cafe special, crafting quality dishes with care and consistency.
- Prepping and cooking food to order according to our menu and standards
- Keeping your workstation clean, organized, and well-stocked
- Following food safety and hygiene guidelines at all times
- Working efficiently under pressure during busy hours
- Communicating clearly with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service
- Assisting with inventory, restocking, and receiving deliveries
- Contributing to a calm, supportive kitchen environment
Who We’re Looking For:
- You’ve worked in a kitchen or similar food prep role before (required!)
- You can multitask and stay organized even when things get hectic
- You’re comfortable on your feet and can lift moderate weight (up to 30 lbs)
- You’re reliable, hardworking, and have a strong attention to detail
- You’re a team player who’s willing to jump in and help wherever needed
