CROSSINGS PEOPLE | STRATEGY & DEALS
Deal Strategist – Integration, Carve-Out & Value Creation
Where strategy meets execution – and advice turns into real change.
This is a role at the intersection of strategy, execution and leadership. You don’t just advise — you make change happen. You take the helm on complex integration, carve-out and restructuring programmes, set the course, inspire your team and guide clients all the way to success. With a sharp strategic eye, you translate analysis into compelling, board-level advice — the kind of advice that shapes critical decisions during the high-stakes moments of an M&A transaction.
• Strategic advice: Deliver well-founded recommendations to C-level leaders and build the buy-in needed to drive change forward.
• Integration & separation: Turn plans into results — from pre-deal to post-deal — and translate the operational impact of a deal into tangible financial performance in the P&L.
• Value creation: Identify synergies and make sure they are actually realised, not just promised.
• Project management: Keep a firm grip on complex transactions and safeguard progress at every phase.
• Business development: Support leadership on growth initiatives and strengthen client relationships.
• Leadership: Inspire your team and coach colleagues in their professional development.
• A completed Master’s degree in business administration, strategy, economics, finance or a comparable field.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience — for example in strategy consulting or complex change programmes, ideally within a Deals environment.
• Experience leading implementation processes and driving operational change.
• Knowledge of target operating models and financial analysis (P&L, business models).
• Fluency in both Dutch and English at C1 level, which is essential for working with Dutch and international clients alike.
You will operate at the heart of high-impact transactions, advising senior decision-makers when it matters most. You’ll combine the intellectual challenge of strategy with the satisfaction of seeing your work deliver measurable results — all while building and leading a team that grows alongside you.
