The Challenge
You'll own the end-to-end user experience of our App, turning complex problems into simple, intuitive experiences that move the needle on acquisition, engagement and growth. You won't just design UI. You'll define the way we design: the process, the system and the rhythm of working with product managers, engineers, operations and marketing. Your range of impact will be significant.
You'll report to the Head of Product and help the team drive the next phase of growth across our B2C App and our emerging B2B product.
About us
Talk360 exists for one reason: to keep people connected to the ones who matter most. Whether it's someone living abroad calling home, a business professional managing relationships across borders, or calling an airline when stuck in a country where roaming doesn’t work, our users don't make calls out of convenience. They make calls that matter.
Talk360 was founded with a clear purpose to become the most accessible and reliable calling app for African diaspora communities, both within Africa and abroad. Talk360 has since grown into a global platform reaching 6+ million people across 180+ countries.
We've built a reputation for reliability where others can't deliver and our purpose has translated into profitable growth from 2025 onwards, marking our shift from early-stage scale-up to a sustainable business. Our ambition is bold: To become the world’s most reliable calling app and the trusted connection for anyone who needs to make calls that matter.
What you'll do:
-
Own the design process and rhythm: Drive design end-to-end, from discovery and ideation through delivery and post-launch iteration.
-
Create experiences worth coming back to: Translate multi-market user needs and feedback into engaging and compelling user experiences.
-
Craft real world designs: Conduct user research and usability testing, and use data to identify friction, prioritize improvements, and measure impact.
-
Build the design system: Create and own the principles, patterns, and standards to create consistent and scalable experience across all surfaces.
-
Be a creative partner: Refine designs with teams, run design experiments and identify opportunities to maximise engagement and conversion.
-
Champion product-led design: Bring a relentless and pragmatic focus on customer centred experiences and design quality.
What you'll bring
-
5+ years of experience in product/UX design at fast-moving, B2C mobile product-led companies.
-
A strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end design across mobile and web, with interaction design, visual craft, and product thinking.
-
A proven ability to own design projects end-to-end, from research through delivery and iteration.
-
Proficiency in Figma, including component-based design, prototyping, and building and maintaining design systems.
-
A bias for using AI to enhance creativity and improve the design workflow, e.g. AI-assisted exploration, prototyping, synthesis of customer research and feedback.
-
Hands-on experience running user research, usability and A/B testing, and translating insights into decisions.
-
Strong visual craft - typography, colour, layout, and iconography.
Who you are
-
User-obsessed, visually sharp, and pragmatic. You know when to go deep on research and when to move fast with a well-reasoned assumption.
-
You can inspire cross-functional teams around a design direction and hold the line on quality without slowing down delivery.
-
Where users are confused, you create clarity. Where flows create drop-off, you remove friction. Where the product feels generic, you bring it to life.
-
You take end-to-end ownership: not just the screens, but the journey before and after, and the system that holds it all together.
-
You've built a design process from scratch in a small company, and you're ready to do it again somewhere it really matters.
-
You’re based in or around Amsterdam, or other parts of the Netherlands (we come to the office twice a week)
