VACATURE: Voor onze groeiende organisatie zoeken wij op onze hoofdlocatie in Nederland een energieke teamspeler als TECHNICAL SUPERINTENDENT.
Je komt te werken in onze internationale en dynamische maritieme wereld van zeegaande sleepboten en offshore bevoorradingsvaartuigen. Met een team zorgen wij ervoor dat onze 13 schepen die veelal werkzaam zijn in Afrika altijd inzetbaar zijn voor onze klanten. Jij wordt de schakel tussen het schip, kantoor en toeleveranciers en zorgt ervoor dat je schepen in een goede conditie en staat van onderhoud blijven.

Tasks, Responsibilities, Accountabilities
- Maintains the conditions of the vessels in the best possible way.
- First contact for technical issues and troubleshooting on board the vessels.
- Maintains the fleet class and quality certification in direct consultation with the ship’s crew and operations department.
- Promotes the fleet maintenance system Marad and motivates the crew to use it.
- Draws up user manuals for newly installed equipment on the vessels.
- Draws up modification proposals to keep the fleet up-to-date.
- Participates in development of new products and applications.
- Responsible for the efficient and cost effective purchasing of spare parts and consumables.
- Keep an up to date overview of all technical issues onboard of vessels, including follow ups, status and issues.
Profile
- Able to communicate in a transparent way.
- Experience in shipping and/or the towage industry.
- Experience in coordinating a drydocking and technical reporting.
- Excellent expression in English, both verbal and written.
- Knowledge of electronics and computer equipment.
- Knowledge of safety, navigational and environmental systems.
- Keeps his knowledge up-to-date by following job specific courses.
- MBO-level as a minimum.
