About Dutch Ready
Dutch Ready helps highly skilled internationals in the Netherlands feel at home faster.
We do this with high‑quality 1‑1 and 2‑1 Dutch lessons (online & offline), tailored to real life: work, exams, and everyday situations.
We’re a small, growing team (3 people + ~35 tutors) serving expats across NL and online. The business is healthy, profitable, and ready for its next growth jump. To get there, we want our systems to run on rails.
That’s where you come in.
The role in one sentence
You make Dutch Ready run smoother every month by turning messy data, manual tasks, and clunky pages into clear dashboards, simple automations, and cleaner web experiences with AI and tools helping you along the way.
What you’ll own (first 90 days)
- Set up clear tracking for our key flows: lead → test lesson → package → completion / exam.
- Organize and fill OKR dashboards
- Automate recurring tasks (reminders, follow‑ups, status updates, etc.).
- Support small website improvements (layout, copy placement, forms) so visitors understand us faster and book more.
If you do this well, everyone on the team feels it: fewer errors, fewer “where is this?” questions, more time for teaching and selling.
Your day‑to‑day responsibilities
- Help map our processes and turn them into simple workflows and checklists.
- Build and maintain basic automations (e.g. via Zapier/Make, email tools, CRM, AI workflows).
- Keep our data clean and up‑to‑date in spreadsheets / CRM (students, hours, packages, status).
- Present weekly dashboards and share a short summary.
- Support light website work: updating sections, adding content, improving structure.
- Document everything you build so others can use it (short SOPs, explainer videos, checklists).
Must‑haves
- You like systems, structure, and details. Messy spreadsheets bother you.
- Comfortable with tools like Google Sheets, Notion, Zapier, basic website builders like Elementor and WordPress, and learning new tools fast.
- You actively use AI (e.g. ChatGPT, Claude, etc.) to learn and build faster.
- You can explain your thinking clearly in English (written & spoken).
- You are based in the Netherlands.
- You are okay with mostly quiet, self-directed work, plus occasional “e-kantoor” coworking sessions on camera.
Nice‑to‑haves
- Basic experience with Zapier/Make, CRM tools, or email automation.
- Basic understanding of HTML/CSS or modern website builders.
- Experience in education, language learning, or small service businesses.
- Dutch at B1+ level – a strong plus, not required.
What we offer
- Salary between €2,300–€2,500 gross per month (depending on hours & experience).
- 20–30 hours per week, fully remote.
- A small, friendly team where your work has visible impact.
- Lots of room to learn operations, automations, and AI in a real business.
- Structured focus time plus regular online “kantoor” sessions to cowork and connect.
- A founder who actually uses systems and will invest in your growth.
