Around the world, X-CAGO helps organizations—from international publishers to app providers—structure and make large volumes of media content securely and sustainably accessible for reuse.
Using unique, patented algorithms, newspapers, magazines, and books are converted into high-quality, searchable digital formats such as XML and JSON. This technology is used for, among other things, publishing editions in digital formats.

Responsibilities
As a Software Developer at X-CAGO, you will work at the core of our data conversion systems. You will be jointly responsible for analyzing and resolving technical challenges (approximately 75% of your role) while actively contributing to the innovation and further development of our products (approximately 25% of your role).
You will ensure software quality and act as a technical partner for our B2B clients in the Netherlands and abroad, translating their requirements into effective, high-quality solutions.
What we're looking for:
· Bachelor’s degree (HBO) in ICT or a related field.
· At least 3 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
· Excellent knowledge of Python and Django.
· Knowledge of Linux, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
· Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, AWS services (such as EC2, RDS, and S3), MariaDB and/or PostgreSQL, REST APIs, XML structures, and/or Adobe Acrobat/PDF is considered an advantage.
· You appreciate structured working methods while actively contributing ideas for improvements and innovation.
· Independent, proactive, and solution-oriented.
· Strong analytical and communication skills.
Languages:
· Dutch (Professional proficiency required)
· English (Professional proficiency preferred).
