As Product Owner Security you’ll be end-to-end responsible for our two product lines Scout & Flex, which are PIR-based motion detection based products. Scout & Flex are part of the sensing layer of BauWatch's connected platform - the data they generate is what makes real-time threat detection, predictive insights, and cross-product integration possible. Scout & Flex combined are contributing >10m euros in sales per annum already and are expected to more than 5x. In addition, we plan to build out the PIR sensor portfolio further.
This role requires regular face-to-face customer interaction and intense customer focus, strong commercial instinct, and an ability to prioritize. You'll work closely alongside your peers, the Head of Physical Products & IoT, and the Head of Digital Products & Customer Experience. Together you'll ensure our physical and digital products work seamlessly to deliver on our vision.
This isn't a maintenance role. We're scaling aggressively and need someone who can handle the full scope from gathering and translating business requirements, to supporting and owning the commercial success of the product lines.
What you’ll do
Set product strategy for your product lines. Balance innovation with what customers need & sustaining engineering.
Drive success of Flex & Scout product lines, define and lead development of succession products and drive their commercial success.
Implement & manage the product P&Ls. Revenue targets, margins, pricing strategy, business cases - the full commercial picture.
Build product lifecycle management processes with department lines and for your specific product lines. Discovery, development, launch, optimization, end-of-life.
Partner with Product Owners and leaders to ensure physical and digital products integrate seamlessly and deliver the full customer experience.
Drive new (physical) product launches across 11 countries. Work with Product Marketing, Sales, Ops, and Engineering to get products to market and make them successful.
Push the team on modern practices. AI tools, improve & implement processes, creative problem-solving. Question how we do things and make it better.
