About Tia Rosa Amsterdam
Tia Rosa has been one of Amsterdam’s well-known tapas restaurants for more than 10 years, loved for its authentic tapas, warm Spanish hospitality and the best sangria in town. Our restaurant is located in a historic warehouse on the Reguliersgracht, close to Rembrandtplein. From our charming terrace, guests can enjoy Spanish tapas with a view of one of Amsterdam’s most beautiful canals.
Alongside our tapas, we serve a wide selection of Spanish specialties, including sangria, Tinto de Verano and Agua de Valencia. We also offer a carefully selected wine list with wines from all over Spain, perfectly matched with our tapas.
Requirements
- Preferably at least 1 year of relevant hospitality experience, but enthusiasm is more important to us than experience
- You are hospitable, service-minded and quality-focused
- You are approachable and have strong communication skills
- You speak Dutch and/or English
- You are eager to learn and proactive: you do not wait around, but take initiative
- You already have your own accommodation in Amsterdam or the surrounding area. We cannot provide housing and we cannot wait for someone to relocate to Amsterdam
Tasks & responsibilities
- Creating and ensuring the best possible guest experience
- Welcoming guests and guiding them to their table
- Making suggestions based on guests’ preferences
- Communicating with the manager or kitchen about special guest requests
- Taking, entering and serving orders
- Preparing and serving drinks
- Handling payments
