Are you an enthusiastic tax professional ready to make an impact on a dynamic international organization known for its expertise in heavy lifting and complex transport solutions?
At Mammoet, we're seeking a Tax Manager Europe to join our tax team. In this role, you will act as the primary tax business partner for Mammoet's European operations. You will support a diverse range of businesses, projects and stakeholders across Europe, working closely with local finance teams, operational management and external advisers.
This position is ideal for an experienced international tax professional with a broad tax background and a strong business mindset. Experience with VAT is considered a strong advantage; alternatively, a genuine interest in developing expertise in indirect tax matters is equally valued.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:
- Advising Mammoet’s European business on tax matters including:

Corporate income tax.
-
Permanent establishments.
-
Transfer pricing.
-
Indirect tax / VAT.
-
Withholding tax.
-
Tax audits and dispute resolution.
-
Tax risk management and control.
Supporting Mammoet's European operations by:

Advising on the tax implications of international projects, tenders and commercial contracts.

Supporting European entities with day-to-day tax matters and business initiatives.

Managing relationships with external tax advisers and tax authorities across Europe.

Coordinating transfer pricing compliance and documentation requirements within the region.

Supporting tax aspects of restructurings, acquisitions and legal entity changes.

Supporting VAT compliance, VAT registrations and indirect tax processes across Europe.

Supporting the implementation and continuous improvement of tax processes within SAP S/4HANA.

Assisting with tax accounting, tax reporting and forecasting activities.

Providing training and tax awareness sessions to finance, project control, HR, mobility and commercial teams.

Monitoring legislative developments and translating these into practical business guidance.

Driving continuous improvement initiatives and automation within the tax function.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
- Master's degree in Tax Law, Tax Economics or a related field.

Minimum 8 years of experience in international taxation.

Broad knowledge of international tax advisory.

Some experience with VAT is necessary, combined with an interest and willingness to further develop expertise in this area.

In-house experience is preferred.

Experience with IFRS and SAP S/4HANA is an asset.

Ability to translate complex tax matters into practical business solutions.

Proactive, hands-on and business-oriented mindset.

Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
