Are you are our next receptionist and breakfast hero?
We are looking for an independent, enthusiastic, friendly and flexible receptionist for our boutique hotel in the city centre of Amsterdam. You'll be working just steps away from Amsterdam Central Station in the bustling Haarlemmerstraat. Our guests praise us for our friendly staff and we hope that you are the new friendly face to our team.
How does your day to day look like?
- Welcoming our international guests and checking them in and out
- Take phone calls and answer questions of our guests
- Handle payments and settle bills of our guests
- Provide information about the city and give restaurant and activity recommendations
- Process incoming reservations and guest arrival forms
- Provide feedback on how to improve service standards for our guests
- Final check of the rooms
- The morning shift helps with the breakfast
How does our ideal candidate look like?
- Previous experience in a boutique hotel
- Knowledge of Mews or similar PMS
- Previous experience with processing reservations
- Enthusiastic, passionate, flexible and able to work under pressure
- Able to work independently
- Good command of the English language
- A second language, such as Dutch, French or Spanish, is preferred
- Willing to work mornings, afternoons, evenings or weekends
- Ideally available for a full-time position, but a part-time position can be discussed
