About IQ Production
IQ Production is a fast-growing manufacturer of nutritional supplements, based in Etten-Leur, the Netherlands.
From our own production facility, we develop and manufacture nutraceutical products for ambitious supplement brands such as 8Hours and PLNKTN.
We weigh and blend raw materials in-house and manufacture capsules using our own encapsulation machines. We also fill and package capsules, powders, tablets and softgels. For selected product formats, such as gummies, we work with specialised external manufacturing partners.

Your role
As Product Developer you turn customer ideas into products that actually get made. You own development projects from first briefing to first production run: formulation, sampling, feasibility and scale-up.
You work at the heart of the company, closely with Production, Purchasing, Quality and Sales. You will report to the Operations Manager and Quality Manager.
What you’ll do
- Plan and run product development projects from concept to launch
- Translate customer wishes into feasible, producible formulations
- Write recipes and manufacturing instructions
- Create prototypes and product samples for customers
- Run feasibility checks on new concepts, ingredients and formats
- Scout market trends and initiate the search for new raw materials
- Support first production runs and up-scaling on the factory floor
- Conduct and document stability tests
- Continuously improve existing products and production processes
- Collaborate with our Quality & Regulatory team on specifications and compliant claims
What you bring
- A completed degree in Food Technology, Food Chemistry, Chemistry, Nutrition Science, Food Safety or a related field or equivalent knowledge from hands-on experience (e.g. as a lab technician or in food production)
- Affinity with supplements, nutrition or health products
- A proactive, results-driven mindset: you finish what you start
- Creativity combined with analytical skills you interpret data and turn it into decisions
- Good command of English; Dutch or German is a plus
- Comfortable with Microsoft Office
Previous work experience is not required. We also welcome recent graduates with a relevant educational background.
