We are looking for an experienced DOCSIS CPE Engineer & Analyst to join our team for a high-impact project with one of our key clients. The project starts on August 1st and runs for a minimum of 3 months, with the potential to be extended up to a full year.
This role is location-sensitive: the candidate must be willing to work on-site at our Schiphol office 3 days per week, with 2 days remote work. This hybrid setup is non-negotiable.

In this role, you will be responsible for validating, analysing, and troubleshooting DOCSIS-based Customer Premises Equipment (CPE) and related technologies. Your work will contribute directly to the reliability, stability, and performance of next-generation connectivity solutions.
Key Responsibilities

Conduct functional validation and performance/stability checks of DOCSIS modems and CPE devices.

Analyze network data using tools such as Wireshark.

Test DOCSIS-related functionality including IP, UDP, and TCP behavior (OSI layers 2–4).

Perform WiFi testing (standards 6.0 and 7.0).

Carry out UI testing and mobile app testing on Android and iOS platforms.

Work in a Linux environment and use command-line tools.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support issue identification and resolution.
Functie-eisen
Requirements

Minimum 6 years of experience in networking and CPE environments.

Hands-on experience with DOCSIS technologies and modem/CPE validation.

Strong understanding of network protocols (IP, UDP, TCP) and WiFi standards.

Experience with Linux (command-line usage).

Knowledge of mobile platforms (Android/iOS) and UI validation.

Fluent in English; Dutch is an asset.

Valid Dutch work permit and current residence in the Netherlands are mandatory.
