The team consists of Partners, Principals, Associates, and Executive Assistants, working across Consumer, Healthcare, Industrial, Life Sciences, Financial Services, and Technology markets. Our work includes senior leadership, Board, and CEO assignments.
Purpose of the role
As an Executive Assistant within Executive Search, you are a key partner in the delivery of complex search assignments and business development activities. You provide project coordination, administrative support, and act as a trusted point of contact for consultants, clients, and candidates.
The role combines structure, pace, and discretion, with frequent exposure to senior stakeholders and high‑confidence environments.
What we offer our Executive Assistants
At Korn Ferry, Executive Assistants are trusted partners and an integral part of the Executive Search team.
Successful Executive Assistants can expect:
Close collaboration with senior consultants and Partners, with real exposure to high‑level client and candidate interactions
A professional, respectful, and low‑ego team culture, where quality and reliability are valued over hierarchy
Variety and ownership, combining coordination, client interaction, and project management rather than repetitive administrative tasks
Clear processes and structure, supported by global systems and best practices
Opportunities to develop deep expertise in executive search, with room to grow, broaden responsibilities, and build long‑term careers within Korn Ferry
Stability and continuity, working in an established team with strong collaboration across the firm
Key responsibilities
You will work closely with Partners and consulting teams and take ownership of the operational backbone of the search process. Key responsibilities include:
Acting as a primary liaison to clients and candidates throughout the search process, ensuring clear, professional communication
Managing search assignments from start to finish in internal systems, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance
Coordinating calendars, interviews, meetings, and travel for Partners, clients, and candidates
Drafting and refining proposals, position specifications, presentations, and candidate documentation
Supporting commercial processes, including invoicing, reporting, expense handling, and follow‑up
Maintaining high‑quality data and documentation across search and CRM systems
Handling sensitive information with the highest level of confidentiality and professionalism
The profile we are looking for
You are a highly professional Executive Assistant who enjoys working in a fast‑paced, client‑facing environment and takes pride in being reliable, organised, and discreet.
You bring:
Experience in executive assistance, project coordination, or administration within a professional services environment
(experience in executive search firms or legal firms is highly relevant)
Strong written and verbal communication skills and confidence working with senior stakeholders
A structured, calm approach and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
High attention to detail and a commitment to quality
A proactive, hands‑on mindset with strong ownership
Comfort working independently while being a true team player
Strong professional integrity, discretion, and sound judgment
Ability to perform well under time pressure and meet deadlines
Experience and qualifications
Degree‑level education or equivalent professional experience
High proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Word)
Experience supporting senior professionals in a professional services environment
Experience with CRM or workflow systems is an advantage
Fluent in Dutch and English
