Your role
As Head of Engineering, you report directly to the CPTO and are responsible for translating the Product & Technology strategy into a high-performing, scalable engineering organization.
You ensure that engineering teams operate with clarity, strong leadership and a direct connection to business and partner value. Your role is to turn strategic direction into predictable execution, while building the leadership and capabilities required to scale sustainably.

Translate strategy into execution
Translate Product & Technology strategy into clear engineering goals, priorities and roadmaps.
Align department objectives with our company strategy, product direction and partner value stream.
Ensure consistent prioritization across teams.
Lead and develop engineering leadership
And the Tech Leads roles
Build a strong technical leadership bench with clear accountability and ownership.
Coach leaders on decision-making, delivery excellence and modern engineering practices.
Build engineering capability
Indirectly drive performance, skills and competencies across all engineering teams.
Establish clear expectations on engineering quality with identified delivery standards and output.
Ensure continuous improvement of engineering practices, including DevSecOps and modern architecture.
Ensure scalable structure and succession
Design a scalable organization structure aligned with growth and complexity.
Identify key talent gaps and develop internal pipelines.
Own succession planning across all engineering teams.
Align engineering with business and partner value
Align engineering structure, processes and priorities with business stakeholders
Ensure strong collaboration with Product, Commercial and Partner teams
Translate technical delivery into measurable business impact
Drive predictable and high-quality delivery
Establish clear processes with regards to delivery and governance linked to performance metrics
Improve delivery focused on the aspects of stability, repeatability, speed and quality
Reduce operational friction and increase engineering throughput
Cloud & application transformation
Lead the modernization of the current software architecture, focused on business impact and scalability
Introduce and embed modern principles across application, cloud, data and infrastructure domains
Migrate components in a controlled way balancing risk, continuity and speed
Ensure a fit-for-purpose and sustainable approach towards modern architecture using cloud as an enabler
Lead the transition to public cloud and managed services, aligned with long-term operational efficiency and flexibility

Success in this role means building an engineering organization that delivers predictably and at scale. Teams consistently hit roadmap commitments, with stable execution and minimal delivery friction.
You develop a strong leadership bench where senior leaders operate with autonomy and own their impact. You redeuce dependency on top-down decision-making and enabling efficient outcomes.
The organization scales without adding complexity. Clear ownership, focused teams and a well-designed structure allow for speed and independent execution as the company grows.
Engineering performance improves structurally resulting in faster cycle times, fewer incidents and higher quality output. Teams deliver more value with less effort.
You ensure a direct connection between engineering and business impact. What gets built clearly translates into partner value, revenue and strategic progress.
You prepare the organization for the future. AI and modern engineering practices are embedded in how teams work, driving productivity and resulting in faster innovation cycles.
What you bring
8–12+ years experience in engineering leadership within scaling SaaS/PaaS environments
Proven experience managing senior engineering leaders and complex organizations
Strong track record in translating strategy into execution and delivery
Experience with modern engineering practices (DevSecOps, cloud)
Ability to build and scale teams, structures and capabilities
Strong stakeholder management and business alignment skills
Clear, decisive leadership style with focus on accountability and development
Experience guiding companies through the transition from founder-led to management-team-led leadership is a significant advantage.
