We’re looking for a passionate, proactive, and impact-driven Intern to join our team in the Netherlands.
Enviu is the expert in plastic prevention
Enviu is a worldwide impact-driven venture building studio. We run the Zero Waste program in the Netherlands and also work on the topic in Indonesia. The program aims to radically reduce plastic pollution by creating scalable reuse and refill solutions and using on the ground experience to drive a thriving reuse ecosystem. These include collaboration with industry partners and governments to stimulate support for waste prevention, acting as a thought leader in relevant networks, and inspiration and awareness creation.
We are looking for support with our activities for an exciting European project that brings together our experience in building reusable glass systems and scaling these across borders. You will help conduct interviews, map and analyze data and support in the overall execution of our zero waste work in close collaboration with the Enviu team and its partners.
You will be part of the Enviu team and based in Rotterdam, the Netherlands.
You will have the opportunity to support our team of experts by:
- Identifying gaps and opportunities in the reuseable packaging system through research and stakeholder engagement;
- Co-develop pilots for reusable packaging systems working cross-borders, applying human-centred design methodology;
- Implementing ecosystem activities, including collecting data, writing reports and supporting in the completion of grant reporting;
- Collecting the data as part of our European research project, by organizing interviews, making notes and analyzing the outcomes of the interviews;
- Support in organising partner network meetings and workshops as part of our European research project and documenting all data from these meetings;
- Co-designing and co-developing reporting deliverables;
In particular you will:
- Support our team of zero waste experts based in Rotterdam, the Netherlands;
- Engage with our partners, being based in France, Belgium, Germany and the Netherlands.
We are looking for a devoted master’s student who:
- has a technical or social science background;
- has a strong affinity with circular economy, system change and social entrepreneurship;
- is structured and able to gather data from various different stakeholders;
- has a critical and independent mindset;
- is creative and able to develop basic communication strategies;
- is adaptive in multicultural environments;
- is fluent in English;
- has excellent communication skills;
- enjoys working in a team;
- is available for at least 6 months.
