De Aircraft Composite Repair Technician is verantwoordelijk voor het uitvoeren van reparaties, modificaties en inspecties aan composietonderdelen van verschillende vliegtuigen. De ideale kandidaat heeft een grondige kennis van composietmaterialen en beschikt over de technische expertise om de structurele integriteit en veiligheid van vliegtuigonderdelen te waarborgen.
Verantwoordelijheden:
-Uitvoeren van composietreparaties aan vliegtuigconstructies, waaronder de romp, vleugels, stuurvlakken en stroomlijnkappen.
-Uitvoeren van grondige inspecties om schade, defecten of corrosie aan composietonderdelen op te sporen.
-Interpreteren van technische tekeningen, blauwdrukken en handleidingen om reparatieprocedures en specificaties vast te stellen.
-Gebruik precisiegereedschap en -apparatuur om oppervlakken voor te bereiden, lijm aan te brengen en composietpleisters te vervaardigen.
-Volg vastgestelde reparatieprocessen en kwaliteitsnormen om te voldoen aan wettelijke vereisten en best practices in de sector.
-Documenteer alle reparatieactiviteiten, inclusief uitgevoerde werkzaamheden, gebruikte materialen en inspectieresultaten.
-Werk samen met ingenieurs, inspecteurs en andere teamleden om complexe reparatieproblemen op te lossen en innovatieve oplossingen te ontwikkelen.
-Houd u aan veiligheidsprotocollen en -procedures om een veilige werkomgeving te behouden.
Kwalificaties:
- Middelbare schooldiploma of gelijkwaardig; beroepsopleiding of certificering in composietreparatie heeft de voorkeur.
- Ervaring in composietreparatie van vliegtuigen of een verwant vakgebied is een pluspunt.
- Sterk mechanisch inzicht en oog voor detail.

-Bekendheid met luchtvaartvoorschriften en industrienormen (bijv. FAA, EASA) is een pre.

Responsibilities

- Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and manuals to determine repair procedures and specifications.
- Use precision tools and equipment to prepare surfaces, apply adhesives, and fabricate composite patches.
- Follow established repair processes and quality standards to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Document all repair activities, including work performed, materials used, and inspection results.
- Collaborate with engineers, inspectors, and other team members to troubleshoot complex repair issues and develop innovative solutions.

Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification in composite repair preferred.
- Experience in aircraft composite repair or a related field is a plus
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and manuals.
- Familiarity with aerospace regulations and industry standards (e.g., FAA, EASA) is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Effective communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Flexibility to work extended hours or weekends as needed.
