Salute is a leading provider of mission-critical data centre infrastructure services, supporting hyperscale and enterprise clients across the Americas and Europe. As part of our continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Health & Safety Advisor to support our Dutch operations and wider EMEA portfolio.
In this role, you will act as a hands-on EHS professional, working closely with operational teams, contractors, and clients to ensure safe working practices across live data centre environments. You will support compliance with Dutch health & safety legislation (Arbowet), Salute internal standards, and relevant EU requirements, while travelling across the EU to support audits, site visits, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Role includes regular EU travel for site visits, audits, and client support. Based in the Netherlands, supporting both local and regional operations. Opportunity to grow within a fast-paced, international mission-critical organisation.
Key Responsibilities
Health & Safety Management

Conduct task-based risk assessments and support the RI&E process, ensuring hazards are identified, controlled, and documented.

Support operational teams to maintain compliance with Dutch EHS legislation, client requirements, and Salute policies.

Actively promote a strong safety culture across employees, vendors, and contractors.

Support the implementation and continuous improvement of EHS management systems, including ISO 45001 and ISO 45003.
Incident Prevention & Investigation

Investigate incidents, near-misses, and unsafe conditions, identifying root causes and implementing preventative measures.

Maintain accurate records of incidents, corrective actions, and follow-up activities.

Track trends and provide clear reports and recommendations to management.
Data Centre & High-Risk Activities

Conduct regular site inspections in live data centre environments, including electrical rooms, plant areas, and contractor work zones.

Support permit-to-work systems, including electrical safety, LOTO, confined spaces, and contractor controls.
