As a Carrier Specialist within the Transport Control Tower of DHL Supply Chain in Eindhoven, you play a key role in managing and optimising the performance of our transport carriers. By analysing performance data, monitoring KPIs and building strong relationships with our carriers, you directly contribute to the quality of our transport services and help our customers achieve and improve their desired service levels. Your responsibilities as a Carrier Specialist
As Carrier Specialist, you are responsible for monitoring, evaluating and improving carrier performance. You ensure that our transport partners deliver according to the agreed service levels while building strong relationships focused on continuous improvement.
Your responsibilities include:

Monitor carrier performance using Transport Management System data and agreed KPIs such as delivery performance, transit times and vehicle availability

Analyse performance trends and discuss results with carriers to identify and implement improvement actions

Prepare Monthly Business Reviews (MBRs) for customers and carriers based on operational performance data

Act as the first escalation point for structural carrier-related issues and coordinate effective resolutions

Support the implementation and onboarding of new customers and transport providers

Identify improvement opportunities within transport processes and proactively drive optimisation initiatives

Coordinate with carriers during peak volumes to ensure agreed service levels are maintained

Collaborate closely with Front Office, Operations, Customer Service, customers and carriers to ensure operational excellence

Assertive personality; you are not afraid to challenge carriers and address performance issues

You are fluent in English. Knowledge of Dutch is a strong asset, but not a requirement.
