CHEF DE PARTIE – Ingridiënts @ Buddy Dive Resort, Bonaire
For our fine-dining restaurant Ingridiënts, located at Buddy Dive Resort, we are looking for a driven and motivated colleague!
Our beautiful dive resort not only offers an exceptional place to dive, but also a delicious and varied Food & Beverage experience. Both resort restaurants are located waterfront and serve as a meeting place for our hotel guests, diving guests, and local island residents. The two restaurants offer something for everyone.
Our restaurant Blennies offers a casual atmosphere, serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
For breathtaking sunsets and unforgettable evenings of fine dining, including perfectly paired wines, guests can visit our fine-dining restaurant Ingridiënts.
What will you do?
- Together with the kitchen team, you will be responsible for the daily operations of restaurant Ingridiënts;
- Together with your team, you will present high-quality dishes that fit the concept and align with the latest culinary trends;
- Deliver an outstanding fine-dining experience to guests;
- Prepare, portion, and plate dishes to a high standard;
- Manage and organize your assigned kitchen section efficiently;
- Contribute menu suggestions and adapt dishes when necessary to accommodate different dietary needs;
- Ensure hygienic working practices in accordance with HACCP guidelines.
Who are we looking for?
- You have a passion for cooking and fine dining;
- You are flexible and service-oriented;
- You are responsible and able to work well under pressure;
- You are a team player with initiative and attention to detail;
- Preferably, you have an MBO Culinary diploma level 3/4 or equivalent experience;
- You have knowledge of and experience with HACCP guidelines;
- Good knowledge of ingredients, materials, cooking techniques, and kitchen equipment;
- You speak English; speaking Dutch is a plus.
