As a Stainless Steel TIG Welder at Aalberts advanced mechatronics (Lamers High Tech Systems), located in Wijchen, you will be responsible for independently assembling and welding stainless steel pipe, tubing, and box section structures. You will work closely with a close-knit and motivated team of approximately 8 people in the workshop and report to the supervisor. - Assembling, tack welding, clamping, and aligning pipe and box section structures as well as products to be welded.
- Purging the product to be welded (displacing oxygen from the pipe) and full-penetration welding of stainless steel pipes and components.
- Performing simple turning and milling work, and machining/cutting various pipe materials using a sawing machine.
- Being able to work independently according to the specified planning and ensuring the very highest quality requirements.
- Proactively collaborating within a great and motivated workshop team of around 8 people and willing to work overtime in consultation when necessary.
Position preferably in a 2-shift schedule. The shifts alternate weekly:
- Early shift: 06:00 – 14:30
- Late shift: 14:30 – 23:00
- Certified at Level 3/4 TIG Stainless Steel (EN 287); Level 2 is also acceptable if supplemented with relevant experience.
- Familiarity and extensive experience with purging and full-penetration welding of stainless steel pipes and components.
- Strong technical insight: fluent in reading 3D drawings (European and American projection) and skilled in clamping and aligning products to be welded.
- Experience with machining and cutting pipe materials using sawing machines, as well as simple turning and milling work.
- In possession of a valid VCA certificate.
- An independent, accurate, and quality-oriented team player who is willing to work in a 2-shift schedule and work overtime when necessary in consultation.
- For non-native speakers: proficiency in English or Dutch is a must.
- Salary between € 3,000 and € 3,500 gross per month (including 17% shift allowance).
- 24 vacation days + 13 ADV days (reduction of working hours, with the option to cash out).
- Collective Labor Agreement (CAO) Metaal & Techniek.
- A solid pension scheme via NN.
