Role Overview
The Implementation Manager is responsible for managing end-to-end client implementations, ensuring successful onboarding and product adoption. This role combines technical configuration expertise with strong client relationship management to deliver high-quality solutions that meet client needs while maintaining scalability and consistency. The Implementation Manager works cross-functionally to coordinate delivery efforts, resolve issues, and uphold documentation and quality standards throughout the implementation lifecycle.
1. Client Implementation & Delivery
- Manage end-to-end client implementation projects, including timeline management, milestone tracking, and coordination of deliverables.
- Ensure clients are successfully onboarded and prepared to use the product effectively.
- Handle client change requests by scoping, assessing feasibility, and delivering changes within agreed timelines.
- Investigate and resolve client issues related to product configuration or integration during the delivery phase.
2. Solution Configuration & Quality Assurance
- Configure client solutions according to defined standards, ensuring consistency and quality across implementations.
- Provide technical guidance on integrations and validate end-to-end solutions before go-live.
- Conduct final quality checks and coordinate with relevant teams to confirm readiness and minimize post-launch issues.
- Follow documentation standards to ensure clarity, traceability, and alignment across implementation activities.
3. Client Relationship Management
- Own the client relationship throughout the implementation phase, translating client needs into actionable plans.
- Communicate proactively and clearly, managing expectations and resolving issues with professionalism.
- Build credibility through responsiveness, reliability, and a deep understanding of client goals.
- Translate technical requirements into accessible language for non-technical stakeholders.
4. Cross-Team Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
- Coordinate with Sales, Product, and Client Management to align implementation plans with internal timelines and product capabilities.
- Share knowledge and support team members to foster a collaborative environment.
- Document key learnings and lead structured knowledge transfer sessions to onboard new team members.
- Share structured product feedback with the Implementation Team Lead to inform improvements in product quality and documentation.
Requirements
- Experience managing client implementations in a SaaS or product-led environment
- Strong understanding of solution configuration, product integration, and client onboarding practices.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for diverse audiences.
- Familiarity with documentation standards and quality assurance practices.
