Role Description
In this versatile role, you will combine work planning, workshop management and project support. You will be closely involved in the realisation of technical installations and act as a link between project management, suppliers and the workshop.
You will regularly work with national and international clients and suppliers. Following an induction period, you will be given the responsibility to manage smaller projects independently, with the opportunity to progress to a project manager role.
Location: Andelst, near Nijmegen.
What will you be doing?
Work Planning & Project Support
- Assisting project managers with projects
- Preparing, planning and coordinating work in the workshop
- Organising the transport, receipt and dispatch of goods
- Liaising with suppliers and customers
Workshop & Assembly
- Supervising the assembly of installations and skid construction
- Actively participating in technical assembly where necessary
- Monitoring quality, scheduling and technical implementation
Workshop management
- Responsible for day-to-day operations in the workshop
- Managing and supporting staff
- Stock management and logistics coordination
- Optimising work processes and efficiency
Qualifications
- At least higher vocational education (HBO) or senior secondary vocational education (MBO+) level of working and thinking (through education or demonstrable experience). Specialising in mechanical engineering or similar.
- An affinity with industrial engineering (e.g. combustion, gas installations, skid construction)
- Experience in work planning and/or workshop coordination
- Good command of the English language (spoken and written)
- Practical attitude and technical insight
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Willingness to travel occasionally (within the Netherlands and abroad)
