Chef de Partie – Little Bonfire
At Little Bonfire, we’re looking for a Chef de Partie who can take ownership of their section, work clean and sharp, and make sure every dish leaves the kitchen at the right quality.
Together with co-owner Roland Middelburg — former chef at Pekelhaaring and most recently part of the team at Parlotte — we are building a kitchen with a strong foundation in French and Italian cuisine, with a touch of Spanish influence.
We are looking for a Chef de Partie who can work closely with Roland and the Head Chef to help grow and develop the kitchen team. Our goal is simple: to bring honest, uncomplicated food to the plate, using the best products and working with the right suppliers.
Little Bonfire serves comfort food with a contemporary twist, fresh from the grill. From long lunches to laid-back dinners, terrace days in summer and fireplace evenings in winter, it’s a place where people stay longer than planned.
What you’ll be doing
You run your section during prep and service,
You prepare and present dishes independently,
You keep timing, quality, and consistency in check,
You contribute ideas for dishes, specials, tastings, and menu development,
You keep your section clean, organised, and ready for service,
You follow hygiene, HACCP, and food safety standards,
You support your colleagues during busy moments,
Who you are
You have solid experience in professional kitchens,
You know how to run a section independently,
You’re organised, accurate, and quality-focused,
You stay calm and focused under pressure,
You’re hands-on and step in wherever needed,
You work well in a team and communicate respectfully,
You’re flexible; evenings and weekends are part of the job,
You speak English; basic Dutch is a plus.
