Lead Quality, Compliance & Sustainability
Help shape the next step in quality, compliance and sustainability at Coram
About Coram
Coram develops, designs and supplies bathroom products that combine design, quality and ease of installation. Our brands, including Tiger, Sealskin, Geesa and Impey, are sold through leading DIY retailers, bathroom specialists, hospitality projects and professional channels across Europe. For decades, quality has been at the heart of everything we do. We work with an international network of suppliers, mainly in Asia and Europe, and our products are used in homes, hotels, healthcare facilities and even cruise ships. As customer expectations and European legislation continue to evolve, we are further strengthening how we manage quality, supplier development, product compliance and sustainability across our organisation and supply chain.
To support this next phase, we are looking for a Lead Quality & Sustainability.
Your challenge
This is a broad and highly visible role with impact across the entire organisation. You will be the owner of Coram’s Quality & Sustainability agenda and work closely with Product Management, Procurement, Supply Chain and our international suppliers to ensure we continue to meet the highest standards in quality, compliance and sustainability. You enjoy creating structure, connecting people and turning legislation and customer requirements into practical improvements. This role combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution. You will identify priorities, coordinate projects and, where needed, roll up your sleeves to make sure things get done.
What you will do
Drive product and supplier quality excellence
- Further develop Coram’s quality management approach.
- Analyse product quality performance and identify structural improvements.
- Coordinate supplier quality programmes and improvement initiatives.
- Support root cause analyses and corrective actions.
- Develop quality KPIs and management reporting.
- Build stronger product quality partnerships with our international suppliers.
Lead Product Compliance
Ensure our products continue to comply with European legislation and customer requirements, including areas such as: REACH, FSC, EPD, LCA, GRS, EUDR, Product Safety and other relevant product compliance legislation
You translate changing legislation into practical actions for the organisation and work closely with Product Management to ensure compliance is embedded throughout the product lifecycle.
Further strengthen Sustainability
Sustainability is an increasingly important driver for both our customers, suppliers and the consumer. In this role, you will help translate our sustainability ambitions into practical improvements across products, suppliers and processes.
You will coordinate initiatives such as: supplier and customer sustainability assessments; environmental product compliance and continuous improvement of our sustainability roadmap.
Support the business
You will act as the central point of contact for Quality & Sustainability throughout Coram. Whether supporting Product Management during new product development, helping Sales answer customer compliance questions or advising management on new legislation, you make sure quality and sustainability maintain an integral part of how we work.
Who you are
You are someone who enjoys building and improving. You don’t wait for others to tell you what needs to happen. Instead, you analyse situations, identify priorities and take ownership. You can easily switch between discussing strategic topics with management and solving practical issues with colleagues or suppliers. You enjoy working across departments and know how to bring people together around common goals.
What you bring
- Bachelor’s degree (HBO) or equivalent working and thinking level.
- Approximately 5-10 years of relevant experience in Quality, Product Compliance, Supplier Quality, Sustainability or a comparable role within an international product organisation.
- Experience working with international suppliers and driving quality improvements across the supply chain.
- Experience within manufacturing, consumer products, building materials or technical products is considered an advantage.
- Affinity with European product legislation and sustainability requirements. You do not need to know every regulation by heart, but you enjoy understanding new requirements and translating them into practical actions.
- Strong project management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills. You know how to influence colleagues and suppliers without relying on formal authority.
- Fluent in Dutch and English.
What we offer
At Coram, you’ll join a family-owned international organisation with strong brands, ambitious growth plans and short decision-making lines. This role offers the opportunity to make a visible impact on the future of our organisation and to work closely with colleagues across multiple disciplines and international partners.
In addition, we offer:
- A competitive salary based on your knowledge and experience.
- 25 vacation days plus 10 ADV days (full-time).
- Hybrid working.
- An attractive pension scheme with only a 1% employee contribution.
- Monthly vitality allowance.
Why this role is different
At Coram, quality is not only about solving problems. It is about helping shape the future of our business. You will work with international suppliers, help prepare Coram for tomorrow’s legislation, strengthen our sustainability ambitions and contribute directly to the quality of products used every day by consumers across Europe. If you enjoy building, improving and making a visible impact, we would love to hear from you.
