You need a driver’s license for this position, but no other specific training or experience. We will train you and you can attend our in-house courses.
In this role, you will work alongside ambulancedrivers at the forefront of carrying out our mission: helping animals in need. Shuttle drivers support the regular animal ambulance drivers by transferring wild birds, hedgehogs, etc. from our animal hospital and animal ambulances en route to the bird shelter, hedgehog shelter or wildlife shelter. During the morning shuttle, you might also drive injured and sick pets from our animal hospital for surgeries and treatments to veterinarians.
You act and drive calmly. In doing so, you reassure the animals and at the same time you are our representative on the road.
You’ll be:
- transport injured and sick (domestic) animals;
- Collecting deceased animals from the street
- driving the animal ambulance;
- keeping working equipment clean.
You’ll receive:

What we’re looking for:
- MBO level education;;
- in possession of driving license B;
- live in or near the Hague;
- available at least one fixed morning or evening per week, until October. That way we can handle the summer rush together! And of course, it’s no problem if you go on a well-deserved vacation in between.

The morning shuttles run from 08:30 to about 11:00 and the evening shuttles from 18:30 to about 21:00, both on weekdays and weekends.
