Housekeeper
A charming hotel in the heart of Amsterdam is looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. In this role you'll keep our guest rooms and public spaces spotless, helping create a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for every guest who walks through our doors.

Key responsibilities
- Clean and prepare guest rooms, suites, and bathrooms to the hotel's high standards of cleanliness and presentation
- Make beds, change linen, and replenish towels, toiletries, and amenities
- Dust, vacuum, mop, and sanitise rooms, hallways, and public areas
- Keep your housekeeping cart stocked, clean, and organised throughout your shift
- Respond to guest requests promptly and courteously
- Report maintenance issues, damage, or deficiencies to the appropriate team
- Handle lost-and-found items in accordance with hotel procedures
- Uphold health, safety, and hygiene standards at all times
- Keep storage areas, corridors, and back-of-house spaces tidy
What we ask of you
- Minimum 2 years of housekeeping experience (hotel experience preferred)
- A strong eye for detail and a genuine commitment to quality
- A friendly, reliable, and hardworking attitude
- Ability to work efficiently, both on your own and as part of a team
- Good command of English (Dutch is a plus)
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Knowledge of the proper use of cleaning materials, or a willingness to learn
- Living in Amsterdam or the surrounding area
