In a nutshell
As an After-Sales Machinery Project Leader, you will be responsible for ensuring that customers remain fully satisfied with their machinery from the moment of delivery through to the end of its lifecycle. You will manage a wide range of after-sales projects, including machine upgrades, maintenance activities, and customer training. Acting as the key link between customers and internal teams, you translate technical and commercial needs into structured and successful project execution.
Your area of responsibility:
Manage after-sales projects including upgrades, maintenance, and customer training
Act as the main point of contact for customers throughout the project lifecycle
Coordinate internally with engineering, service, and support teams to ensure timely execution
Translate customer requirements into clear project plans and actionable steps
Monitor project timelines, costs, and deliverables to ensure successful outcomes
Maintain strong customer relationships through regular communication (phone, email, and on-site visits when required)
Identify opportunities for additional services or improvements to enhance customer satisfaction
Ensure all activities meet quality standards and company procedures
Job requirements:
Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, or a related technical field
Have several years of experience as a Service Coordinator or Project Manager in a service-oriented environment, preferably within the industrial automation or machinery sector
Are fluent in English and Dutch; knowledge of French is a strong advantage
Combine strong technical understanding with commercial awareness
Are customer-focused, proactive, and solution-oriented
Possess strong planning, organizational, and project management skills
Communicate clearly and effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Are able to manage multiple projects simultaneously with a high level of accuracy and quality
We offer
Full-time position with a permanent employment contract
Compensation package: €4,500 – €5,500 gross monthly salary + 8% annual bonus
Hybrid working model with up to 2 days of home working per week
Flexible working hours, allowing employees to start between 7:30 and 9:00 a.m. and finish between 4:30 and 6:00 p.m.
