The Opportunity
This is not a traditional graphic design role.
We’re looking for a Brand Graphic Designer to join our Brand & Marketing team — someone who can move fluidly between campaign, content and channel, and help evolve how moochi shows up day-to-day.
You will translate campaign direction into considered, high-performing content across social, ecom and retail, balancing creative discipline with pace.
This role plays a key part in our shift toward a more always-on content model — increasing output, improving engagement, and ensuring a consistent brand experience across every touchpoint.
Who Are We:
Moochi was founded in Mount Maunganui in 2000 by Kellie and Chris Taylor. This was the beginning of what would become an iconic New Zealand women’s clothing brand, with 13 stores across the country and a strong online presence. The Head Office is now based in Auckland with team also in Sydney. Moochi has a very loyal customer and our purpose is to be the most loved brand in her wardrobe, bringing effortless luxury to her everyday, with an enduring style that will have her feeling confident, always.
We approach everything from our customer's point of view, striving to offer a premium, sensory experience through all touch points. With new products delivering every week, we all work at pace and there is never a dull moment in any department. As a vertical business we control all aspects from design, product development, manufacturing both locally and offshore, to our in-house marketing and sales, through our stores and online. The overarching goal for the business is ‘to be the smartest fashion business with ‘best in class’ kpi’s from culture, operations, finance and most importantly customer loyalty.

What You’ll Do
Campaign & Brand Execution

Design and roll out campaign suites across: EDM, website, ecommerce, retail and events

Ensure consistency and clarity of visual language across all outputs

Deliver work that feels considered, cohesive and distinctly moochi
Content Creation

Create content across: Instagram, TikTok and paid, Ecommerce and digital channels, Retail and campaign environments.

Translate creative direction into engaging, multi-format content
Content Scaling

Extend campaign ideas into: Multiple content formats, Platform-specific executions, Always-on content beyond campaign moments, Deliver crops, cut-downs, motion and short-form content
Channel Awareness

Design with consideration for: Platform behaviour, Visual cut-through, Format and pacing

Work alongside the Brand team to refine outputs and improve performance
Retail & Physical Expression

Deliver in-store and POS creative, and maintain cohesion between digital and physical brand experience
About You
You are a designer - but equally, an understanding of how content lives beyond the page. You think in content, not just assets. You care about detail, but you’re not rigid. You’re comfortable working at pace, and refining until it feels right - and ensuring every touchpoint reflects brand.
