Organizational Transformation Project | Reports to: Director Enterprise Applications
We are looking for an experienced Project Lead to drive the integration of Brill, Sciendo, and Ubiquity into our existing SAP-based system landscape. This is not an IT or SAP implementation project in the conventional sense - it is an organizational transformation project. Legacy systems will be retired and replaced by SAP, but the more significant shift lies in harmonizing business processes, working methods, and organizational structures across all entities involved.
You, together with your project team, will take full ownership of steering and progress across the entire initiative, acting as the central point of coordination between business units, our publishing structure, external consultancy resources, and senior management.
The success in this role is measured not by the technical implementation of SAP, but by the successful adoption of harmonized business processes and ways of working across all participating entities.

Your tasks
Hold overall accountability for steering, progress tracking, and successful delivery of the integration project across Brill, Sciendo, and Ubiquity.
Maintain and update project plans and timelines, tracking milestones and dependencies across all workstreams.
Align and monitor project budget against actual effort and spend, flagging deviations early.
Moderate cross-stakeholder decision-making and ensure decisions are properly documented and tracked through to implementation.
Establish and maintain project governance structures, decision processes and reporting mechanisms.
Ensure timely escalation and resolution of project risks and decision requirements.
Act as the main point of contact for stakeholders, providing regular, transparent communication on status, risks and dependencies.
Manage and challenge external consulting partners regarding scope, quality, timelines and delivery commitments.
Ensure transparency of effort, progress, risks and dependencies.
Drive the replacement of legacy systems by SAP while managing the broader organizational and process-related change this entails.
