Re8 is a B2B trading and ITAD company based in central Leiden. We recover value from used electronics and give devices such as smartphones, laptops, servers, and components a second life that would otherwise go to waste. We work with companies globally, buying and selling across the world.
We're looking for an ambitious, commercially minded person who wants to develop real business skills alongside their studies — a part-time job / internship that pays and where you learn a trade from the inside. Within a year, you could be sourcing and closing your own deals; over time, you'll run your own book within the business.
You'll work alongside the founder — helping to close deals, develop new business, handle order administration, and build a startup from day one. You'll see the impact of your work every day. You learn the business from the ground up, which means you also pack shipments, handle inbound receipts, and test devices.

A pragmatic person who is eager to learn with an interest in purchasing and sales. You want to develop yourself and like to see the impact of your work from day one. You enjoy freedom and can take ownership of your own work. You think long term and do not only chase quick wins. You’re not afraid to take risks nor make mistakes, important is that you learn from your mistakes.
You're flexible and understand that the business may sometimes demand more or less from you. To start, we offer a flexible contract of 16-24 hours per week, which can grow into more depending on the needs of the business and your own schedule.
A degree matters less to us than your mentality and instinct. We prefer someone with the instinct and drive to solve problems and find answers themselves, rather than wait to be told. Street smart over book smart. You have a hands-on approach to solving challenges.
You welcome freedom and flexibility but understand that it comes with responsibility and challenges. Rather than shying away from them, you embrace the accountability and face the challenges head-on.
You can speak and write English; a second language is a nice to have. A driver's licence is a plus.
