ZOO Magazine is an independent, internationally distributed publication dedicated to art, fashion, and design. Since its founding in 2003, ZOO has established itself as a respected voice in contemporary culture, reaching readers across 26 countries. For the coming months, we are looking for two motivated individuals to join our editorial team.
In this role, you will work closely with our Head of Production and Creative Director, contributing to both print and digital output. Your responsibilities will range from assisting with magazine layouts to developing visual content for social media and online platforms. This position offers a hands-on opportunity to engage with the full creative process while contributing your own ideas and perspective.
What we’re looking for:
A motivated, flexible, and proactive mindset
Strong communication skills
Excellent written and spoken English (German is a plus)
Ability to work efficiently under time constraints
A collaborative, team-oriented approach
Your skills:
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, etc.)
Interest in visual storytelling and design
Experience or curiosity in video editing, AI tools, or web design
Ability to create thoughtful, visually coherent content
Strong organizational skills and attention to deadlines
Familiarity with tools such as Microsoft Office, Canva, or Figma
Your role:
Support the Graphic Designer with magazine layouts
Create visual content for social media and digital platforms
Conduct visual research
Assist with video production and editing
